Expect nothing but quality and dedication to work at Ramsgate Family Care Home.  Our care staff are highly trained and carefully chosen for the skills and values they possess.  Every staff person here at Ramsgate Family Care Home is trained to understand the value of our Principles of Service and are encouraged to be guided by them in all they do for our residents every day.  Our Principles of Service can best be described as preserving dignity, nurturing the spirit and celebrating the individuality of all of our residents, this is our mission here at Ramsgate.

• Preserving Dignity - Every resident comes to us filled with life experiences and so we respect that of everyone.
• Nurturing the Spirit - We believe in caring for the whole person in mind, body and spirit. Therefore, we don't just care for the physical aspects of a resident, instead, we are committed to caring for the soul or the spiritual aspects as well.  We provide opportunities for social interaction, mental exercise and spiritual enjoyment through field trips, social outings and entertainment.
• Celebrating Individuality - Because we appreciate that everyone is unique, we value the life story of every resident. We respect the personal tastes and preferences that each person reveals.

• We check and monitor Vital Signs
• We assist with ambulation, bathing grooming, dressing and personal hygiene
• Housekeeping and Laundry
• Social and recreational activities with other residents
• Transportation arrangements to and from social events
• Transportation to and from doctor's appointments
• Individual hobbies and group games
• Music, arts, and movies
• Monthly outings
• Opportunities for continued learning through provided classes
